PURPOSE: To enable a film to be readily and surely loaded by providing the mechanism of sending out the film between both side wall portions according to loading of a film holder to the film holder or camera body.

CONSTITUTION: A patrone 2 is dropped into the partone containing part 3 of a film holder 1. At this time, it is put in the state that the leader part 9a of a film 9 enters between side wall portions 5, 6. Next, the side wall portions 5, 6 of the holder 1 are pushed by the hand fingers to cut off the film leader part 9a by cutter 8. This film holder 1 is inserted into a gate part 23. When its pier 7 passes the foregoing gate part 23, the cutter 8 part spaces and the film 9 becomes free to pass. Further when the holder 1 is inserted, the perforations of the film 9 are sent out to the position to engage with a sprocket 27, thence the leading end of the side wall part 5 contacts a stop face 26 and the film stops. Thereafter a cover body 19 is closed to complete the loading. In this way, the simple and sure loading may be accomplished.
