Abstract:

To provide a quantitative method of the phosphorus content which is simpler and quicker than a conventional chemical analysis method by enabling acquisition of an accurate measurement result even when measuring the phosphorus content by using a fluorescent X-ray.

A fluorescent X-ray analyzer is used for quantitating the phosphorus content in starch. The fluorescent X-ray analyzer is a device for measuring the kind or the content of an element by irradiating a sample with a primary X-ray emitted from an X-ray tube, and by analyzing the intensity (unit:cps) of a fluorescent X-ray generated from the element in the sample.
