PURPOSE: To obtain the photosensitive body superior in electric chargeability and sensitivity and chargeable to both polarities and rich in the stability of electrostatic characteristics even at the time of repeated copying cycles by using a photosensitive layer having a charge generating material, an organic positive hole transfer material including a specified oxadiazole compound, and an organic acceptor compound dispersed into a binder.
CONSTITUTION: The single layer type electrophotographic sensitive body is provided directly on a conductive substrate or on an undercoat layer with a single layer type photosensitive layer containing the charge generating material, the organic positive hole transfer material including the oxadiazole compound represented by the formula, and the organic acceptor compound dispersed into the binder. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 is an optionally substituted aromatic carbon or hetero ring compound. Such a photosensitive body is adapted to a copying process of from a low to high speed.
