Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent water leakage in a pocket formation site, and promote cleaning efficiency and improve cleanliness of a pocket section.
CONSTITUTION: A pocket hole 6 is opened by burring work from the surface side in a relatively broad flange surface 5 projected to the upper end circumferential edge 1a of a sink main body 1 in the direction of the rear side through a step section 4 for drain. The upper end open circumferential edge 10a of a bottomed box type pocket member 10 is brought into contact with the circumferential edge 6a bent and projected to the rear side of the pocket hole 6 from the rear side of the flange surface of the sink main body 1 to partially fix and joint with each other by welding, and sealing compound 7 is applied around those joint elements. A drainage hole 11 connected to a draining pipe system 9 of a strainer 8 provided to the sink main body 1 through a drain pipe 13 is provided to the bottom of the pocket member 10.
