Abstract:
To provide a sintered body comprising aluminum nitride as a major component, which has a low volume resistivity and a high thermal conductivity.
The sintered body contains cerium as cerium dioxide of ≥8 wt.% and ≤40 wt.% and a crystalline phase of Ce2O3. Or, it contains cerium as cerium dioxide of ≥8 wt.% and ≤40 wt.% and a crystalline phase having an interplaner spacing (d) of 3.1-3.2 which is detected as a peak in X-ray diffractometry.
