Abstract:

To efficiently input Japanese by an equipment which does not have keys and buttons for inputting characters used in a personal computer, a word processor, or the like, and which has only minimum 16 keys and buttons.

Consonants are allocated to ten keys and buttons, vowels are allocated to five keys and buttons, and roles of symbols for a stop, a voiced consonant, or the like are allocated to a single key and button. Thus, keys and buttons are arranged so as to efficiently input Japanese.
