Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily find a reason for a defect in a work, when a defective work happens.
SOLUTION: A sizing device detects the change of a work 8 in outer diameter size during grinding to output a control signal to a grinder controller 4 when it gets to a preset size. It has a memory 32 to store measurement data during grinding, so that the measurement data for the specified work during grinding can be read out of the memory 32 by inputting a preset command through a keyboard 22 after grinding to repeatively reproduce grinding processes on a display means such as a meter and a bar-graph 20. Rapid or slow traverse reproduction allows more detailed observation in the grinding processes.
