1508740 Rotary positive displacement device CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 5 Nov 1976 [9 April 1976] 46191/76 Heading F1F A rotor for a slant axis rotary fluid machine 10, Fig. 1, comprises a centre piece 80, Fig. 2, which includes a flange 62 and a bearing pad 36, Fig. 1, an intermediate piece 90 secured to the centre piece 80 by screws 92 and including a bearing pad 38 and a pair of covers 94, (96), Fig. 3 (not shown). The intermediate and centre pieces are provided with coolant passages for cooling oil supplied via passages 56, 58 in the shaft of the machine. The intermediate and centre pieces also include journal bearings 42, 44.
