PURPOSE: To obtain a skin activator having a glycosaminoglycan production- accelerating action and useful as a cosmetic and skin aging-inhibiting external application by using a specific lysophospholipid having high safety as an active component.
CONSTITUTION: This skin activator has one or more kinds of 1- acyllysophospholipid expressed by formula I and formula II (R1 is an 11-18C saturated fatty acid residue or an 18C fatty acid residue having 1-3 unsaturated double bands; R2 is a 13-18C saturated fatty acid residue or an 18C fatty acid residue having 1-3 unsaturated double bonds; M is H or an alkali metal) as active components. This skin activator gives a tension to skin and inhibits wrinkles. The mixing ratio of the 1-acyllysophospholipid is preferably 0.1-10wt.% of total volume of the skin external application or a medicine. A new and exceeding glycosaminoglycan production- -accelerating material is offered by the above method and the skin-activating external application having the compound as an active component mainfests an excellent beauty skin effect.
