Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively slide an auxiliary protruding piece protruding to a rear edge together with a locking piece into pressure contact and locking to an inner wall of a container for a coating applicator by exposing or concealing a transfer heat by the slide of a slide cover to be guided along the inner wall of the container.
SOLUTION: The coating applicator 1 comprises a supply reel 11 and a take-up reel 15 provided on a base plate 10, a transfer head 20 coupled to the plate 10 via a transfer head support member 19, a cartridge 3 having a head cover 21 covering the head 20 together with a transfer tape 22, and a coating applicator container 2 for containing the cartridge 3. The container 22 has a slide cover 4 slidably engaged with an opening 8 for exposing the head 20 of the cartridge 3, and a locking piece 24 formed at a rear end (inward) of the cover 4. A rear end of the piece 24 has slide locking protrusion 6 protruding toward an inner wall. The protrusion 6 is guided in a slide groove 7 provided on the inner wall so that the head 20 is projected from or retracted in the opening 8.
