Abstract:
To provide a slide member capable of reducing a friction and maintaining its state for a long time, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A slide member 10 includes a base material 1 composed of steel, and an alloy layer 2 formed on a surface of the base material 1. A surface layer part of the base material 1 has a dispersion layer 1b in which a metal particle 1a containing one or more types selected from Sn, Bi, and In and having a diameter of 0.01 μm-2.0 mm in the number density of 50.0 pieces/cm2 is dispersed, the dispersion layer 1b having a thickness of 20.0-3,000 μm. The alloy layer 2 contains Fe and one or more types selected from Sn, Bi and In, and has a thickness of 3.0-100 nm, a total content of Sn, Bi and In being 10.0-75.0% in mass %.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
