Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a slide type variable resistor which is easy to manufacture and excels in operability, assembly and durability.
CONSTITUTION: This slide type variable resistor is composed of a slider 3, an insulating board 1 with a resistor layer and a collector layer and a cover 2. The operating part 14 of the slider 3 is formed in the central part in the direction of operation of a sliding element support 10 and at the same time sliding elements 11, 12 and a click spring 13 are molded in one body with the sliding element support 10. Also, the sliding element projected from the side end part of the sliding element support and the click spring are selectively bent upwards and downwards with respect to the sliding element support, and a contact part 18 formed in the tip end part of the sliding element and a fitting part 19 formed in the tip end part of the click spring are arranged in the central part in the direction of operation of the sliding element support.
