PURPOSE: To constitute structure, for locking and releasing an elevating car and the sliding door in a boarding/alighting entrance by a simple mechanical device, by mounting a spring, for rotatably energizing one end side of respective levers always in a sliding door direction, between a machine frame and a first lever also between a wall surface and a second lever.

CONSTITUTION: A first lever 6 of an elevating car is rotatably energized in the direction of the sliding door 2 of the car by a pulling spring 8 during elevation, the locking part of the first lever is locked to the stopper of the door 2, a cecond lever 10 on a wall surface 5 is rotatably energized in the direction of alighting/boarding sliding doors 3A and 3C by a pulling spring 12, and the stoppers of the doors 3A and 3C are locked at the locking part of the lever 10. When the car reaches the position of a landing, the roller 6b of the lever 6 abuts on a fixed cam 4 to release the lock of the locking part of the lever 6, and the cam 9 of the car abuts on the roller 11 of the lever 10 to release the lock of the locking part of the lever 10.
