Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding wire-passing pivot of good reliability and operability which is in no danger of being cut, etc., by twisting of a cord or chafing, etc., and which allows an easy work of hanging a door.
SOLUTION: This pivot includes a pair of holding elements 3A, 3B which are provided on a frame side pivot 2 secured to a door frame 1 and one of which can be opened and closed; a shaft 6 which is provided on a door side pivot 5 secured to a notched part formed by notching of a corner of a door 4 and which serves as the rotating shaft of the door 4 as it is held and hung by means of a hole formed between the holding elements 3A, 3B; and a set screw which holds both of the holding elements 3A, 3B in closed position. The frame side pivot 2 is provided with one connector 8B, the door side pivot 5 is provided with the other connector connected to an indoor cord 8C passing through the shaft 6, and the cord 8C is extended into a space between the notched corner of the door 4 and the portion of the door frame opposite to the notch to electrically connect the connectors together.
