Abstract:
To provide a slime control method in a water system capable of suppressing the generation of slime in a wide pH range including a high pH zone and peeling and removing the slime.
In the slime control method in the water system, hypochlorous acid and/or its water-soluble salt, bromide which emits bromine ions underwater and 5,5-dialkyl substituted hydantoin are added and mixed in the water system, and (A) the hypochlorous acid and/or its water-soluble salt and (B) N-monochloro-5,5-dialkyl substituted hydantoin are generated in the water system.
