Abstract:

To provide a slip preventing structure of wires of a PC steel strand, and a prestressed concrete beam using it.

At least one restriction fixture 6 is mounted on the outer periphery of the PC steel strand 5 in order to prevent the slip between the wires 51A, 52A and 53A constituting the PC steel twist wire 5 and the wires 51A, 52A and 53A are mutually clamped by the restriction fixture 6. Since the clamping force going toward the inside of the PC steel twist wire 5 from the outer peripheral surface side thereof is applied by the restriction fixture 6 to bring the wires 51A, 52A and 53A into contact with each other under pressure, the slip between the wires can be prevented even if the stretching force of the PC steel twist wire 5 becomes high. Further, the bonding strength between the PC steel strand 5 and concrete can be enhanced by the restriction fixture 6. If the PC steel strand 5 having this slip preventing structure is used, a prestressed concrete beam of high capacity can be produced.
