Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a slip reading system by detecting the layout analytic error of a character recognition device.
CONSTITUTION: The feature of the system is providing OCR 1 which executes layout-analysis so as to decide the character area of a reading object from a slip image in accordance with an LC storage part 2 specifying the layout of a slip and recognizes/outputs a character in the character area of each reading object, which is decided by this layout analysis, an error detection part 4 detecting the error generation of layout analysis by OCR 1 from the piece of recognition result data outputted from OCR 1 and LC 2, and a display control part 7 screen-displaying the slip image corresponding to an error generating part for correcting recognition result data when the error detection part 4 detects the generation of the error.
