Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a slip ring by forming a shaft adapted to be attached on an axle and bearings therefor from a conductor, and by arranging terminals on the shaft by means of the bearings rotatably relative to the shaft so that the shaft is used as signal transmission path. CONSTITUTION:A terminal cylinder 3 is mounted on the outer periphery of a spacer cylinder 4 provided on the outer periphery of the intermediate section of a shaft 1 which is mounted on an axle, so as to form a signal transmission path through a terminal 8b. A terminal cylinder 6 is mounted on the outer periphery of the terminal cylinder 3 through the intermediary of a spacer cylinder 7, and is connected to a terminal 8a so as to form another signal transmission path. Bearings 19b, 16 made of a conductor are provided on the terminal cylinders 3, 6, respectively, at the other end thereof, and a casing 9 is supported on the shaft 1, rotatably. A terminal 14a which is provided on the outer periphery of the casing 9 so as to be exposed, a spacer 18a, the bearing 16, a terminal cylinder 6 and the terminal 8a constitute a signal transmission path. Thus, an abnormality of a tire is detected by these three signal transmission paths. With this arrangement, it is possible to simplify the structure of the slip ring.
