To provide a sludge recovery apparatus realizing miniaturization and cost reduction.

The sludge recovery apparatus 1 has a first one-direction clutch 6 arranged between a rotary drum driving shaft 81 and a scraper driving shaft 91, and a second one-direction clutch 7 arranged between a scraper driving mechanism 5 and the scraper driving shaft 91. Upon centrifugal separation, the rotary drum driving shaft 81 is rotated and driven by a brake motor 40 of a rotary drum driving mechanism 4, while a geared motor 50 of the scraper driving mechanism 5 is kept standing still. On the other hand, upon scraping sludge, rotating and driving force is generated by the geared motor 50 while braking power is applied to the rotary drum driving shaft 81 by the brake motor 40.
