Abstract:
To reduce the size of the boiler package of a small boiler such as a small once-through boiler and a vacuum type water heater by improving a blower.
This small boiler carries the high-speed blower 10 having an impeller 11 with a rotary vane 15 directly coupled to a drive motor 13 and having the maximum speed rated value of 10,000 rpm or higher. Also, the impeller 11 is of the cast or forged type. The high-speed blower 10 is desirably an axial type blower or a mixed flow type blower in which the impeller 11, a drive motor 12, and a fixed vane 14 are stored in a same casing 13. Also, the rotational speed of the drive motor 12 is controllably allowed to follow up a load by inverter control.
