PURPOSE: To reduce the size and weight and to improve the processing performance by conveying a film to respective processing tanks with its emulsion surface in and installing a stirring member which stirs processing liquid between emulsion surfaces in a conveyance rack arranged in each processing tank.
CONSTITUTION: The stirring member 53 for processing liquid which is provided in the conveyance rack 50 is put in up-down motion through a mechanism which converts a driving force (rotary motion) transmitted from the power of a driving force for rotating the conveyor roller 52 of the conveyance rack 50 into linear reciprocal motion. Then the film 30 in each processing tank is conveyed with its emulsion surface in, namely, having emulsion surface sides of the film 30 opposite each other, and the stirring member 53 is moved up and down in their intermediate area to improve the stirring effect to the processing liquid. Consequently, the developing machine is reducible in size and weight and the processing performance can be improved.
