PURPOSE: To make the EL display of a small-sized electronic computer exchangeable and, at the same time, to perform the EL display exchange without turning off the power supply to the computer.
CONSTITUTION: A stopper 414 which determines the maximum stationary position by means of a compression spring is formed at the central part of an adjusting arm 410 for determining the inclined angle of a display panel 10 and the stopper 414 is contacted with the front board of the main body 1 of an electronic computer and stops the rotation of the display panel 10. When the display panel 10 is manually pulled out from the stopped position, the stopper 414 moves beyond the front board and the display panel 10 can be rotated to a maximum angle of about 90°. When the display panel 10 is rotated in such a way, an inserting port 100 is exposed and the EL panel of this computer can be exchanged. At the side of the main body 1 opposite to the arm 410, the operating lever of a microswitch fitted to the main body 1 is pressure- contacted with the side face and, when the display panel 10 is rotated beyond the stopping point by means of the stopper 414, the microswitch 430 is opened and only the power supply to the driving circuit of the EL panel is cut off.
