Abstract:
To provide a smoke detector and a smoke detection system capable of more rapidly detecting fast-spreading fire.SOLUTION: A smoke detector 10 includes: a first smoke sensor for detecting a change in physical quantity generated by smoke within a smoke detection space; and a control part 4 for correcting output from the first smoke sensor when the rate of climb of output of the first smoke sensor is larger than a first threshold. The smoke detector may include: a first smoke sensor for detecting a change in the physical quantity generated by smoke within a smoke detection space; a second smoke sensor for detecting a change in the physical quantity generated by smoke within a smoke detection space; and a control part 4 for correcting output from the first smoke sensor and output from the second sensor according to an output ratio between output from the first smoke sensor and output from the second smoke sensor when the rate of climb of output of the first smoke sensor is larger than the first threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
