To provide a snow accumulation prevention device which removes snow on a roof by a simple structure and reduces the labor of snow removing and is effectively used as a snow accumulation prevention countermeasure.

The snow accumulation prevention device prevents snow accumulation on the roof by covering the whole roof 12 with a snow accumulation prevention sheet 20 with water repellency and water resistance and sliding snow on the snow accumulation prevention sheet 20. The snow accumulation prevention sheet 20 is supported spaced apart from the roof 12 with a support member 14a, 14b, 14c, and weights 25 are mounted on end edges of the snow accumulation prevention sheet 20 and are suspended from eaves edge parts 12c, so that the snow accumulation prevention sheet 20 is stretched on the roof 12.
