PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide socks that enable a wearer to maintain a proper posture by enabling him/her to properly brace his/her legs with his/her toes.SOLUTION: In socks 1 of the present invention, a thick part 4 is provided in a location corresponding to bases of toes on the sole of the foot. This configuration enables the bases of the toes to be brought into contact with ground via the thick part 4 when a wearer walks or runs in the state of wearing the socks 1, Thus, all the toes can be brought into contact with the ground, and he/she can properly brace his/her legs with his/her toes.
