Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt a soil and sand conveyor to tunnel excavation having a small cross section without positional limitation by using a space section on the rear side of a cutter plate as a soil-sand storage chamber, and sending out soil and sand to the soil and sand suction transport pipe side while molding soil and sand cake bodies in fixed length from the soil and sand storage chamber.
SOLUTION: A space section between the opposed surfaces of a partition wall 13 stretched to the opening end section of the skin plate 11 of a tunnel boring machine and a rotary cutter plate 12 disposed at the opening end of the skin plate 11 is used as a soil and sand storage chamber 1 while a rotary face plate 4 having an opening section 6 in an outer circumferential section is arranged onto the front of the partition wall 13 in the soil and sand storage chamber 1. The opening front end of a soil and sand suction transport pipe 3 laid on the inside of the boring machine is communicated with a mouthpiece 2 bored to the partition wall 13, and soil and sand in the soil and sand storage chamber 1 are formed in cake bodies in a fixed length and discharged to the soil and sand suction transport pipe 3 side when the rotary fore plate 4 is rotated and the opening section 6 is communicated with the mouthpiece 2.
