Abstract:
PURPOSE:To execute hermetic sealing while increasing fixing strength and to improve the accuracy of a fixing position by uniformizing the wetting of solder even if a flux is not used at the time of soldering optical parts into a cylindrical holder. CONSTITUTION:A micro-rod lens 20 subjected to metallization on its outside surface is inserted into the cylindrical lens holder 22 and is fixed by soldering. A slope 22a is provided at the front end on the inner side of the lens holder 22 and solder 26 of a washer shape is pressed thereto and the rod lens 20 is inserted into the lens holder 22 and is held in a specified position. The solder 26 is tightly fitted to the rod lens 20 and the lens holder 22 and is heated while pressing, by which the solder 26 is melted and the rod and the holder are fixed.
