PURPOSE: To prevent adhesion of iron powder to a valve, by forming the valve being driven through co-operation of the electromagnetic force of a solenoid and a spring by non-magnetic member having corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.

CONSTITUTION: A valve guide 3 and a bobbin 6 wound with a solenoid 5 through a sealing member 4 are fitted liquid tightly in a housing 2 which forms the shell of a solenoid valve 1. A valve 11 is formed of non-magnetic steel material having corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance. Consequently, the valve 11 is not magnetized by the magnetic field being produced upon energizing of the solenoid 5 and since the valve 11 has excellent abrasion resistance, it is scarcely abraded.
