Abstract:
To provide a solid insulation switch which withstands outdoor use, and to provide a rolling stock.SOLUTION: A solid insulation switch (1) comprises a vacuum valve (4) having a fixed electrode (9) and a movable electrode (11) placed oppositely to the fixed electrode (9), an operation rod (13) connected with the movable electrode (11) and operating the movable electrode (11), an operation mechanism (15) connected with the operation rod (13) and controlling operation thereof, and an enclosure (40) covering the vacuum valve (4), the operation rod (13) and the operation mechanism (15). The enclosure (40) has a solid insulation layer (2) and a metal operation apparatus box (14), the solid insulation layer (2) has a ground layer (7) provided on the surface of the solid insulation layer (2), and electrically connected with the metal operation apparatus box (14), and a coating compound layer (8) provided on the surface of the ground layer (7).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
