Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent or suppress the decomposition of dapiprazole by adding magnesium oxide to granules in the preparation of a drug for the peroral administration of dapiprazole useful e.g. for the treatment of depression syndrome and schizophrenia. CONSTITUTION: The decomposition of dapiprazole (especially preferably dapiprazole hydrochloride of the formula) during the preparation of granules for the peroral administration solid drug unit can be prevented or suppressed by adding about >=10 (w/w)% of magnesium oxide. An improved pharmaceutical composition for oral administration having improved stability can be produced by this process.
