Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a solid phase trace extraction/analysis method for material in a carrier fluid.
SOLUTION: In this method, a collector is contacted with a stirred fluid including material for a sufficient time, solid phase extraction for the material adhering to the collector is executed, and the separated material is carried with a carrier gas and analyzed. The carrier fluid including the material is stirred in a vessel of a magnetic stirrer 1 with a coated magnetic stir element 7 that is the collector, and/or the carrier fluid is moved by ultrasonic waves with the fluid tightly contacted with the collector, then the stir element 7 is moved to a solid phase extraction device 8.
