PURPOSE: To suppress the increase of the internal resistance during a charge and a discharge of a battery and remove the adverse effect by the moisture in the atmospheric air by molding epoxy resin added with fibers and inserting it into a battery jar.
CONSTITUTION: A positive electrode 1, a negative electrode 2, an electrolyte 3, a carbon film 4, a Cu plate 5 and epoxy resin 6 are contained. In a battery main body with a structure arranged with a layer mainly made of the positive electrode 1 and a layer mainly made of the negative electrode 2 on both faces and a layer mainly made of the electrolyte 3 at the center, epoxy resin 6 added with fibers is molded and inserted into a battery jar. A battery pressed with layers of the electrodes 1 and 2 and the electrolyte 3 by the epoxy resin 6 added with fibers more firmly as compared with the case with no fibers added is obtained. The phenomenon that the battery is expanded during a charge and a discharge is suppressed, and the decomposition of the electrolyte by the moisture in the atmosphere can be prevented.
