Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance a condensing rate of a micro-lens and enhance sensitivity irrespective of the number of a scanning line or an pixel pitch.
CONSTITUTION: As a micro-lens 14 having the same curvature in the vertical and horizontal directions is formed respectively, if the one focal distance in the vertical and horizontal directions is in focus, the other focal distance is in focus. Therefore, a part of light passing through the micro-lens 14 is not shielded by a metal photoshield film 11, etc., and most of light passing through the micro-lens 14 is condensed to a light-receiving element of a light-receiving region 6.
