Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement solidifying treatment method for a radioactive waste, which has a large treatment capacity of a radioactive waste containing nitrates.SOLUTION: The solidifying agent includes the following features (1) to (4). (1) The solidifying agent contains a cement composition. (2) The cement composition contains calcium aluminosilicate. (3) The chemical composition of calcium aluminosilicate has 35 to 55 parts of CaO, 20 to 45 parts of AlO, and 5 to 30 parts of SiOin the total of CaO, AlOand SiO. (4) The use of the solidifying agent is for solidification of a nitrate solution. The solidifying agent may contain silica fume, slag, saccharides and a hardening agent. There are also provided a solidifying treatment method including solidification of a nitrate solution, and a solidified body obtained by the solidification by the solidifying treatment method.
