PURPOSE: To collect fine dusts or high specific resistant dusts below 1μ by a mechanism wherein dusts in a gas to be theated is coagulated by a sonic coagulating electric field and thereafter collected by a particle moving layer.
CONSTITUTION: A gas to be treated containing dusts is introduced between a pair of a porous plate 3, 4 forming a moving layer 2. On the other hand, moving layer particles with a particle size of about 2W10mm are wetted by a water spray sprayed from a water spray nozzle 4 according to necessity and are introduced to a porous plates 3, 4 through a hopper 7, a rotary valve 5 for breaking from a conveyor 12 to form a moving layer 2. The dusts in a gas are passed through a sonic generator 13 connected to a gas introducing side of a moving layer 2 to coagulate and removed by depositing the said dusts a particles surface during passage. The particles of a dusts deposited moving layer 2 are screened by a vibration screen 8 while dried by an exhaust gas of a burner 15 and regenerated particles are recirculated to a conveyor 12 through a conveyor 10 and an elevator 11.
