To provide a sound absorbing filter capable of highly efficiently collecting allergens such as airborne dust, pollens and ticks, further generating a sound absorbing effect and having dust collection capability.
The sound absorbing filter 1 includes a porous structure 2 with at least continuous mesopores and organic fibers 3. The structure 2 is welded-supported by the fibers 3. The fibers 3 forms a fabric or a nonwoven fabric to have the function of collecting airborne matters. Thereby forming the fibers 3 into the fabric or the nonwoven fabric allows the allergens such as the airborne dust, the pollens and the ticks to be highly efficiently collected, generating the sound absorbing effect through a conversion of sound energy to thermal energy when the sound passes the structure 2 with the opened mesopores supported on the surface of the fibers and achieving the sound absorbing filter with the dust collection capability.
