Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a part of a music, which has been an object for copying prohibition, from being unintentionally recorded by delaying an audio signal by a prescribed time and preventing the recording of the delayed audio signal on a recording medium when the copying prohibition bit accompanying the audio signal is detected.
SOLUTION: An input circuit 20 extracts the audio signal (a) corresponding to each piece of music from inputted signals and supplies this audio signal to a delay circuit 21. This delay circuit 21 supplies the delayed audio signal (b) obtained by delaying the audio signal (a) by a prescribed time to a mute circuit 23. This mute circuit 23 starts mute operation when a mute control signal (c) is a mute-on demand signal. The circuit releases the mute operation when the control signal described above is a mute-off demand signal. At this time, if the delay time of the delay circuit 21 is set longer than the time necessary for the detection and decision of the copying bit, such a trouble, that the sound recording of the music having been an object for copying prohibition is unintentionally done before the end of the detection and decision of the copying bit can be prevented.
