Each of two sound source direction detection sections 50a, 50b is provided with a plurality of microphones and detects the direction of the sound source, based on the sound pressure level of a sound signal from each microphone. A sound source position estimate section 70 geometrically estimates the sound source position in an imaging object chamber R1, on the basis of the direction of the sound source detected by the sound source direction detection sections 50a, 50b. Imaging sections 60a, 60b are controlled to carry out photographing, while being oriented to the estimated sound position. An image recognition section 80 applies image recognition processing to the photographed video data. The image recognition section 80 controls the zoom function of the imaging section 60a so as to display an object (sound source) in large size.
