Abstract:
An acoustic structure (1) includes: at least one hollow section (2) defined by a pair of opposed transparent or translucent wall members (11) and a plurality of connecting wall members (12, 13) interconnecting the pair of wall members, and at least one opening portion (3) communicating an interior space inside the hollow section to an exterior space. At least some of the connecting wall members (12, 13) may have colorless or colored transparency or translucence. Further, a mirror surface may be provided on any desired portion of the wall members defining the hollow section. Furthermore, a lighting device may be disposed near the outside or inside of the hollow section. Because light or a scene on the opposite side of the acoustic structure is visible through the transparent or translucent wall member, design quality and usability of the acoustic structure can be enhanced.
