Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a simple and effective device for adjusting the sound volume of a speaker by adjusting the sound volume of the speaker by using a signal generated by recognizing a bar code. CONSTITUTION: When a read symbol is a volume adjustment signal, a microprocessor 62 outputs a sound volume adjustment signal good tone, SPKDATA, and clock signal SPKCLK. The value of a digital analog converter 70 is added every time the symbol is sensed so that sound volume generated from a speaker 68 can be increased, and good lead display is operated. When tone generation is desired by the processor, a good tone line is toggled to a desired frequency. The desired frequency can be changed by using another acting bar code.
