Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To level the surface of bed soil filled in a raising seedling box.
SOLUTION: This sowing machine for raising seedling box is constructed in such a manner as to fill a raising seedling box C with soil to form the bed soil of a seed to be sowed in the raising seedling box while transferring the box in a definite direction and level the surface of the filled soil with a leveling tool rotating around an axis crossing the transfer direction of the raising seedling box. The soil failed in leveling with the leveling means and remained at the rear-side corners in the raising seedling box C relative to the transportation direction of the box is removed with a back-raking tool 13 which is pushed by the transporting side edge of the box and retreated to the transportation side and the soil failed in leveling with the leveling tool and remained at the front corners in the raising seedling box C relative to the transportation direction is pressed from above with a front pressing tool 14. The horizontal moving distance L2 of the front pressing tool 14 is made to be larger than the horizontal moving distance L1 of the back-raking tool 13.
