Title:
OPTICAL GLASS ELEMENT AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3196952
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To economically obtain a high-precision optical glass element without annealing by obtaining the change in the refractive index of a glass due to press forming and using a glass material having a corrected refractive index obtained by compensating the refractive index of a product by the decrease or increase of the change.
CONSTITUTION: A glass material of previously selected composition is melted, heated and press-formed to produce the optical glass element by using the following means. Namely, an optical glass material having a refractive index obtained by subtracting the change in refractive index due to press forming from the refractive index required by a formed optical glass element is press- formed. This optical glass element forming method is effective when the change is controlled to 10×10-5 to 600×10-5 and very effective at ≥350×10-5.
