Title:
SPECTACLE LENS MACHINING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3961196
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens machining device capable of partially changing lens edge machining and increasing degree of freedom of a design of a frame or the like.
SOLUTION: This spectacle lens machining device comprises an edge machining means that has a grinding tool for applying, to the lens edge, at least two kinds of finishing processes of a V-groove finishing process, a flat finishing process, a specular finishing process, a first grooving process, and a second grooving process for drilling a groove with width and depth of which at least one is different from that in the first grooving process, and moves lenses relatively with respect to a grinding tool to machine the lens edge, a means for inputting data in a range of partially changing the finishing process applied to the lens edge and a machining kind, a calculating means for determining machining data every range based on the inputted data and edge position data, and a means for controlling a machining operation of the edge machining means based on the calculated machining data.
