Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the attaching work by inserting a preliminarily assembled spring hinge member to a guide housing provided on a temple.

CONSTITUTION: A slider 2 is provided with a locking member 9 which is stored in a groove part 8 and has one end pushed by a plunger 10 energized by a spring stored in the groove part 2 and has the other end engaged with one end of the groove part 8 of the slider 2. The state that they are completely assembled in this manner is denoted as a preassembly state, and this assembly member in the preassembly state is inserted into the guide housing 3 provided in one end 4 of the temple to elastically engage the locking member 9 with an engaging groove in the guide housing 3, and the slider 2 is slided in the guide housing 3 in the axial direction to obtain the temple with the spring hinge. Thus, the hinge is easily attached to the temple side without requiring skill, and the assembling work of spectacle us performed efficiently.
