Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce production of transmission shock, by a method wherein a down shift delay device is mounted to a shift valve except that which controls transmission at a maximum transmission step. CONSTITUTION:Ports 66 and 67 of 1-2 shift valve 23 are connected to a port 52 of a down shift valve 29 through an oil passage 68, and an orifice 97 being a down shift delay device is situated to the inlets of ports 66 and 67 of an oil passage 68. Since shifting from the up position to the down position of the 1-2 shift valve 23 is delayed, this constitution prevents a different step from being located between desired transmission, and enables reduction of production of transmission shock.
