Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify structure of a change lever, by a method wherein lateral movement of a change lever along with select control is converted into rotational movement by means of a tension rod and the ball joint of a link lever. CONSTITUTION:The end of a change lever, which is situated below a spherical part 3a and is the swing center of a change lever 3, is supported to a ball joint 6. One end 2b of a shift select control rod 2 is connected to one end 9a of a link lever 9 through a ball joint 8. An arm part 12 with a given length is erected upright in a position in the vicinity of a coupling point 11 between the shift select control rod 2 and the change lever 3, and one end 12a of the arm part is supported to a ball joint 14 to which a tension rod 13 is coupled. This constitution enables simplification of structure of the change lever.
