Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a compactly constituted brake apparatus by reducing the brake power of the brake apparatus by installing the brake apparatus onto the transmission shaft of a speed change transmission apparatus for a tractor, transmission car, etc., thus permitting the brake apparatus to be installed at the position free from the large reduction by a reduction gear. CONSTITUTION:Revolution is transmitted to an intermediate shaft 7 through gears 2 and 3 from an input shaft 1, and further transmitted to a transmission shaft 10 through transmission gears 4 and 9 from the intermediate shaft 10. The transmission shaft 10 in revolution is connected to axles 5 and 5 through a small gear 8, reduction gear 6, and a transmission gear 30, and said axles 5 and 5 are revolved with the revolution speed properly speed-change-operated. The axles 5 and 5 are brake-applied by installing a brake apparatus 11 at one edge of the transmission shaft 10 having a relatively small torque on the input shaft 1 side in comparison with the reduction gear 6.
