Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet the need of special signals such as a lock signal and a polling command for an exclusive control to be output from a processor so as to detect spinlock outside of the processor.SOLUTION: A data processing apparatus in which a plurality of processors is connected to a common memory comprises: a buffer memory; and a determination unit. The determination unit stores memory access commands of a predetermined command type issued to the common memory from the processors in the buffer memory, calculates the number of a plurality of memory access commands satisfying a predetermined condition among the memory access commands stored in the buffer memory, and detects spinlock on the basis of the calculated number.
