Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel which can be made compact as much as possible and stably works even at a fishing point in severe operation environments.
SOLUTION: A part of rotor 16C is projected cylindrically in the area surrounding the rotary shaft 16J of the rotor 16 and the cylindrical projection 16C of the rotor is arranged so that it comes into the inside of the spool from the rear at the position that the spool moves back most. The front part of the housing 10 of the reel 10 is projected in a cylinder form and the cylindrical projection 10M comes into the cylindrical projection 16C of the rotor. A handle 12 is mounted and at least the main parts 24, 26 of the mechanism that reciprocates the spool back and forth is arranged in the space between the rotatable handle shaft 14 which is extended in the right and left directions and is born by the reel casing and the front wall face of the cylindrical projection 10.
