To provide a spinning rod which can avoid freezing in the line through hole of a fine guide and further avoid conventional problems on a reel seat, even when spinning in a severe winter season.

This spinning rod is characterized by attaching yarns 4 comprising high moisture-absorbing exothermic fibers which absorb moisture and generate heat, to the leg portions 3a, 3b of line guides 2, 3 attached to the outer peripheral surfaces of a rod body. The spinning rod inhibits freezing in the line through holes in the line guides 2, 3 and can avoid a state that a line can not be wound up or delivered, when frozen.
